The film is an explosion of distorted faces. The live performers play with how we read faces in order to know if we are safe or friendly - how different contexts make us avoid faces - how we are stuck with our own faces - the players use text and movement choreography to express their emotions around their complicated interests in faces.

The film takes an empathetic view on the youtube phenomena - “Miss Carolina”. The live players work with award events - the glitz - the let down - the award for doing almost nothing - the let down of getting the award after trying so hard to be accepted - to be recognized - to be loved. The players use text and movement choreography to express the humility of both getting and not getting awarded.
