Guest artist for the improvisation course 2010 and short term study July 24-25 workshop series in Amsterdam
is an actor, director, performer and teacher. He has created, directed and performed within many dance and theatre pieces in Europe and America including Magpie Music Dance Company with Katie Duck in Madrid. He has directed and written plays and teaches actors and performers in the studio he founded in 1980 Estudio3 . He has been infulencial in the performance field of Spain inviting artists from all over the world to teach in his studio and mantaining a high level of performance work using imrpovisation and play as his basic belief of how we are able to devlep as performers. His studies in dance include R.Laban technic, movement and stage techniques, Contemporary, Jazz, Contact Improvisation and Performance. His work with dancers is aimed toward creating choreographic pieces while dancing and leanring to produce new, free and attractive dance movements by applying concepts. The warm-up focuses on the study of Anatomy, listening to the body, stretching deep muscles and relaxing. The technical tools for the sessions include voice, respiration and words as a means to promote self-liberation and how to face improvisation performance with a public.
