Or Hakim summer workshop series

This workshop investigates how we can make architectural choices by looking at the shapes, corners, lines and our self’s in space and how this investigation relates to our body. The workshop will contain a warm-up and improvisation exercises, which support our possibility to investigate space as a tangible subject for altering our emotions, our energy, our relationship with each other and our choices over-all.

Biography

Or Hakim is a contemporary dance artists who studied at the ArtEZ school of dance, BA in performing art with Aryeh Weiner, Martha Najam, Marian Sarstadt, Kevin Cregan., Sara lorenco, Tony Vezich, Aryeh Weiner, Ime Essien, Phillis Gutelius, Kristin De Groot, Neel Verdoorn, Anouk van dijk, Philip Taylor,  Mary O’Donnel, Sylvain Meret, Vincent Cacalano, Erike Kaiel and Dylan Newcomb. She was an apprentice with the Magpie Umbrella in the summer of 2009 and is now working as a professional dancer and maker in Amsterdam.
