Katie Duck conducts international tours and projects in her Amsterdam base. Her performance events contain music, movement, dance, text, humour and sound. Katie can create performance solos and in groups using local artists or artists where she is touring.
Local artists whom she works with include Performers: Manuela Tessi, Miri Lee, Melvin Fraenk, Carla Behal, Vincent Cacalano, Sylvain, Meret, Justin Morrison and Sharon Smith. Musicians: Andy Keep, Gerri Jagger and (Kage) jong-kag Park.

The research
The original MAGPIE (1995-20050 used methodologies in rehearsals that supported how they could execute a performance with musicians and dancers that was improvised and yet appeared to be set in time and space.
