The Attic studio is located in a domestic space on the 4th floor of a traditional Amsterdam domestic building. It is used for regular classes, workshops, and casual performances. The studio has a wooden floor, a terrace, and lots of light.
This Attic studio will be the morning space, 10:00 to 13:00, for the full time, two week summer course participants. Body Body Body classes with Katie Duck (week 1) and with the summer course staff (week 2) with various multidisciplinary practices.
Please arrive early. Coffee, tea and treats are offered before the sessions. The lunch break for the summer course will be on the 3rd floor domestic space. You can leave your food in the facility, and use the kitchen for your lunch needs.
There is a small room on the 3rd floor where you can change your cloths and store backpacks. No shoes in the facility.
It is an intimate space that allows for the participants who are doing the full summer course program towards performances, to discuss the work, have tutorials, bond and choose to use the 10:00-13:00 hours as they they choose, in collaboration with Katie Duck (weeks 1 and 2) and the summer course staff (week 2).
It is a 10 minute walk to the OT301 building where the afternoon work begins at 14:00-18:00. We need to leave the Attic space each day by 13:45.
